Self Catering Accommodation - Terms and Policies

House Rules

Settle Inn is governed by the Riverside Park Home owners Association laws and legislation. We will require that all guests comply with the following house rule;

  • No parking of motor vehicles on the riverbank or pavement.
  • Drive slowly in Riverside Park - No speeding - the speed limit is a maximum of 25kmp/ph.
  • There are other guests using our facilities and we want all our guests to relax in a tranquil environment, as such no loud music or noise will be permitted at any time. 
  • The premises is for guests only no visitors permitted. 
  • Kindly wash and pack away all crockery & cutlery used.
  • No smoking in the units. 
  • Maximum persons allowed in the unit not to be exceeded at any time.
  • No animals or pets allowed.
  • Departure bu 10H00 strictly.

Kindly note that Settle Inn reserves the right of admission. Should these rule not be adhered to, we will have no option but to instruct you to vacate the premises immediately without being refunded.  

Rates

  • Persons over the age of 12 Years are classified as an adult.
  • Rates apply per unit and not per person. Number of guests allowed per unit is limited as specified per unit. Under no circumstances will the maximum number of persons per unit be exceeded. Sleeping on coaches, blow up mattresses, sleeping bags etc. will not be allowed.
  • Special rates will be calculated for group bookings as per owner’s discretion.

Reservation

  • Reservations will only be confirmed once the booking form and proof of payment is received by us. Confirmation of the booking will be forwarded to the guest.
  • Payment of the full reservation is due 14 to 28 Days before arrival depending on the season, confirmation of the payment, booking dates and detailed directions with password for security gates will be forwarded to the guest.

Cancellation policy

  • The equivalent of one night’s fee per unit booked will be required as a deposit to secure the booking/s. The deposit is non-refundable should the booking be cancelled.
  • Amending the arrival date will be permitted for one alternative date, providing we can accommodate the request in the same season / price range.
  • All reservations need to be paid in full 14 days before the arrival date, with the exception of high season where full payment is required 28 days before arrival.
  • No refund on full reservations paid will be allowed or amendments to reservation dates.
  • No refunds after arrival will be considered for whatever unforeseen circumstances.

Non availability of accommodation

  • We would only cancel the reservation if the accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control.
  • We would, however, attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the accommodation.
  • Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
